Today, Victoria based Quickscribe Services Ltd., a leader in delivering current and affordable BC legislation services, and Nanaimo based Westhaven Forestry Law, a law firm offering a wide range of legal services relevant to the BC forestry sector, announced a strategic partnership. The partnership aims to provide forestry professionals with valuable, interpretative insight into recent and upcoming legislation changes affecting the industry.
Together, Quickscribe and Westhaven Forestry Law will combine expertise to ensure clients are not only kept abreast of the latest changes, but to also ensure that the intent behind these changes are explained in an easy to understand manner.
Jeff Waatainen, principle of Westhaven Forestry, is a published author and columnist in the field, and a former adjunct Professor of law at UBC. He has over a decade of experience with the forestry practice group of a major firm in the field. Jeff will publish the “The Forestry Law Reporter” exclusively for the benefit of Quickscribe clients.
“We are thrilled to have acquired the expertise of someone like Jeff Waatainen,” says Mike Pasta, Quickscribe President & CEO. “Jeff has devoted his entire legal career to providing services to the forestry sector and brings to Quickscribe a component that clients have been requesting for some time. This partnership is a logical fit and we are confident that Jeff’s contributions will be of great benefit to our subscribers.”
“I’ve been using Quickscribe for over a year now and am impressed with the timeliness and functionality of this service and how this company continually strives to improve the quality of service it provides through initiatives such as this.
